Sebastien RECORD

Personal Information

Sebastien RECORD is our specialist for Soil Life.

He holds an MSc in Agriculture from E.I. Purpan-Université de Toulouse thanks to his work on agroforestry at INRAE (national institute for agronomic and environment research).

After several positions of Agriculture Attaché at the French Embassy in UAE and Romania, he starts his own consultancy firm to bring innovative solutions for farmers on the Romanian market. His concern is always to make a better use of the resources available on a farm in order to meet performance with profitability in a sustainable way. Having a unique experience in soil health (where we can find 80% of the solutions to farming problems), he can address a majority of situations to help farms be more resilient to climate change. His tools for an objective diagnostic are validated by FAO and his advices are based on field observations and the latest literature on soil health.

Convinced that everyone can make their own best decisions once properly informed, Sebastien decided to get involved in associations where he can share his experience. First has a Mentor, and now has VP in CATA, he gives lectures on soil fertility at on-site events or during webinars.
